Stand up and speak
An exciting new project is moving forward inside the Conservative Future. Adam Honeysett-Watts is leading a search for regional spokespeople across the country to stand up for Conservative Future.
The search began with Matthew Robinson, Regional College Chairman, emailing all regional chairs on the 15th June with details of the post and how to apply. This was part of large marketing campaign to attract the best candidates which included a blog post, then National Chairman Ben Howlett raising the opportunity at the very well attended Diamond Jubilee Garden party on the 23rd June and Adam Honeysett Watts spoke to people himself at the fabulous Downing Street reception yesterday.
The Conservative Future PR gurus are looking for two or three people for every region in the country to represent the Conservative Future in their area and liaise with the local press. The very demanding role carries a number of key responsibilities including distributing press releases, pitching stories, answering questions, writing articles and monitoring the media.
Advice, training and support will be provided to all successful candidates and it offers a fantastic chance for Conservative Future members to gain some new skills, expand their network and support the Conservative Future.
Adam Honeysett-Watts said “I am working closely with Matthew Robinson to identify suitable candidates and ask that you specify a) which region is applicable in this instance and b) your experience in a few bullet points. The regions are: NW England, NE England, Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands, East Midlands, Eastern, London, SW England, SE England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.”
So if you’re looking for an exciting new opportunity make sure you apply – Email adam.honeysett-watts@conservativefuture.com for more details!
