On Friday night Conservative Futures London contingent and many from out of the area attended a popular jubilee party at Carlton Club. At this evening rumours had been going around that certain individuals were planning to use the event to create open dissent?
For whatever reason no such coup d’état took place, but Gossip Tory can reveal the core team of a potential contender for next year’s leadership has been severely disrupted. Gossip Tory has also been able to secure a leaked copy of a resignation letter aimed at said candidate.
The individual concerned sacked a key lieutenant by text based on the aforementioned false rumours. Upon hearing that decision had been taken, another team member resigned in protest. Rumour has it there are more to follow in an event being called Carltongate.
