The Star Social Returns to the heart of London Conservative Future

Cities of London and Westminster Conservative Future, the CF branch of the Cities of London and Westminster Conservative Association, has today released a statement that its famous Star Social will return on Tuesday 10 January 2012.

The Star Social used to be a regular and free favourite on the CF social calendar; its return marks a new chapter for the London branch.

Newly elected CLWCF Chairman Richard Holloway said: “The Star Social was the premier event each month for young Conservatives across London. I’m proud to bring back an event which many members will remember as their first taste of Conservative Future.”

The January Star Social will take place at the The Old Star‎, 66 Broadway, London, SW1H 0DB, in the upstairs bar from 7pm. Aidan Burley, 32, MP for Cannock Chase in Staffordshire will speak on his work to reform the laws and funding arrangements for trade unions.  As Chairman of the Trade Union Reform Campaign, Aidan has been critical of the way taxpayers’ money is used to fund trade union officials.

Richard Holloway said: “The Star Social will be a great free monthly event for Conservative Future members across London. Come along and hear great speakers like Aiden Burley MP for free in the heart of Westminster.”
